Carrie Renner, LE, MBA has been practicing electrolysis since 2024. Carrie earned a Master's in Business Administration in 2017, from Western Governors University. A Catonsville resident since 1978, Carrie is a graduate of Catonsville High School, the Community College of Baltimore County-Catonsville Campus (Health Informatics) and as it was formerly known Catonsville Community College (Applied Art). She is a lifelong learner, who has a demonstrated thirst for knowledge.
Carrie's healthcare experience as a Certified Coding Specialist necessitated an understanding of insurance policies as they relate to billing of CPT and ICD-10 codes, including health care coverage policies for gender affirming care. Catonsville Electrolysis does not currently contract directly with insurance plans.

Catonsville Electrolysis uses the Evolution XHD epilator, from Silhouet-Tone, providing three frequencies 27.12 MHz, 13.56 MHz and 6.78 MHz in one state-of-the-art machine. The Evolution XHD offers Vector Modulations which allows more energy to be applied while maximizing comfort. Vector Modulation ensures rapid destruction of all germ cells of the root and the bulge of the hair follicle while preserving the surrounding tissue.
